Seeking Camera donations for youth project
The goal of this project is to mentor about fifty to sixty kids. Three volunteer professionals will teach these classes for three months in the project's pilot phase.
In the photography class, we will be needing students to practice by photo documenting their communities and environment in their own neighborhoods. In the end of the project, before the students graduate, they will be presenting their work to the community for a change. Also to enable the youth see their community and surroundings in a better and positive dimension.
This project will engage these youth away from trouble and help them foster skills.
This project will take place in Cedar Riverside neighborhood, West Bank, Minneapolis, MN.
Therefore, if you or someone you know or your organization or business would like to contribute cameras, volunteers and in any other way you can contribute, please contact me at my email.
Here are some articles of my work with the youth.
